Scotland in Bloom

Muthill entered the 'Scotland in Bloom' competition for the first time in 2006 and was selected as a finalist in the small village category and won the New Entrant Trophy.

The judges said, "Muthill has a strong community which backs the Bloom campaign. The main street has many fine seasonal displays which are further enhanced by residents' pots and basket displays. Muthill Primary School pupils are very aware of their environment and have worked hard to achieve their first Eco Schools Green Flag. You get good vibes of the strong community team and the pride that is taken in the village."
